Central Defender
Steve Vickers is an English former footballer who primarily played as a central defender. He started his professional career at Tranmere Rovers in 1985 and made over 258 league appearances for the club. Vickers had a successful career, making nearly 600 appearances in the Football League and the Premier League. He also played for Middlesbrough and was part of the team that played in the 1997 FA Cup Final. After retiring from playing in 2003 due to injury issues, he transitioned into a coaching role and is currently a non-league coach.
